Incentive Compensation Design and Administration

Incentive plans refer to the portion of an employee’s salary that is tied to specific performance measures, rather than guaranteed pay.  Incentive plan design should be flexible and fit corporate strategy to help organizations achieve its goals.  We will work to develop a comprehensive solution that is relevant to your business size, industry, budget and ability to administer.

Optima will:

  • Review existing plans to ensure parity with corporate goals and compensation philosophy or work with leadership to understand the business needs to develop a new incentive plan.
  • Ensure all incentive plans are aligned (ie. Short-term, Long-term, Equity).
  • Work with leadership in finance/accounting to provide accrual data and to obtain financials to ensure payout calculations are accurate.
  • Be available to provide ongoing plan maintenance and conduct routine plan audits.
